Yesterday reminded me of how quickly time flies by. This morning I dug up a calender that my husband bought me for Christmas last year. It was still flipped open to April! Have we been so busy this summer hardly noticed what month it was? Apparently so. And apparently the girls of “Sex and the City” are filming a few flashback scenes for the SATC movie sequel. Can you believe we did this to ourselves? I never wore a pink bustier to elementary school but I certainly remember my letting my cousin Gina tease my hair for my first New Kids on the Block concert and wearing so many jelly bracelets up my arm, my acid wash jean jacket could hardly fit over my elbow. Now I’m digging out my fall denim again and looking for the perfect flannel to compliment my fall wardrobe. I guess some fashion never goes out of style. Just look at Carrie’s belt. Nina Garcia would call that smart shopping as it’s still the best accessory of them all.
