In a century old cathedral, it is often best to let its natural character be the background for your beautiful wedding ceremony. Perhaps in this instance, you might want to have a table with your unity candle set at the front of the church, some simple flower arrangements in the church and maybe some crisp white aisle runners. The nice part of a lovely church ceremony is that it can really save money on wedding decorations.

If you have rented a hall or booked a fancy ballroom at the local hotel or resort, then check with the coordinator to see what décor is included in your rental fee. Sometimes the locale will include flower arrangements, pillars, arches and more. In this type of setting, your wedding decorations could consist of lovely tulle to drape off the chairs in the aisle and perhaps pretty white premade bows to dress up the seating area. Again, aisle runners to indentify the procession area or wedding luminaries would be a lovely touch. If rice or confetti is not permitted, provide your guest with personal bottled wedding bubbles for a fun and romantic feel.

On the other hand, if you are getting married in your backyard, then fabulous and impactful wedding decoration ideas are absolutely vital and will be a huge determining factor in the overall feel and feel of your wedding ceremony. For the larger items such as tables, chairs, alter, wedding arches, arbors and benches, rent them – it is cheaper and more convenient. Outdoor garden weddings can be softened with white net pull bows and lots of billowing tulle. You can also add a grouping of light garlands that adds a soft glow to your wedding ceremony.

There are many new items available in wedding decorations that are fun and economical such as the newer twist of the traditional unity candle, which uses coloured sand art instead of candles. The liquid chalk wedding marker allows you to write romantic poetry, ‘just married’ and other fun phrases on glass or vehicle windows. You may also want to add a discreet wishing well for guest gift envelopes, or confetti that comes in great theme shapes such as wedding bells, cowboy boots, cherubs, and heart shapes.
